I am an insect systematist interested in beetle diversity and evolution. My research broadly covers alpha | beta taxonomy, DNA barcoding, molecular phylogenetics, and population genetics. I have recently focused on molecular phylogenetics to understand the biological and morphological adaptations of certain beetle families, for example, macroevolutionary feeding habit transitions of sap beetles (Coleoptera: Nitidulidae) or modifications of ovipositor induced by oviposition strategies in longhorn beetles (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae).
